Settling in to a routine

It's been a few days since we got back and we are getting more used to each other and our life at home. Heather has mostly caught up on her sleep and Landon is getting used to the routine. He has mostly been doing well sleeping through the night and adjusting to one nap. We've been able to get out more in the mornings because of it. He had his first meal (in the states) out at Wendy's and has eaten out a few times since then. He has done so well in going out and being around people it has been great. 

We have enjoyed spending time at home with Landon really getting to know him. It seems there is something new that we notice each day. We are getting more used to his schedule and his needs, so we are quicker to fix whatever when he is upset or cries. He got to play with his cousins next door for the first time. They all had fun and Landon tired himself out real good.

We are going to try and get him a haircut tomorrow. Although it is cute, his hair is a little long and with the heat here it is warm for him. We think he is warm-natured to begin with but the hair makes it a little worse. We are also going to try and get him good walking shoes while he is still learning to walk. Hopefully the weather will be nice as we are going to an outdoor mall and we want to be able to walk around some with him.
